Located conveniently across from the Convention Center, Haad Thai serves up an excellent selection of spicy and not-so-spicy traditional Thai dishes. Appetizers include chicken or pork satay with peanut sauce, as well as vegetable rolls and shrimp rolls. Entrees include traditional dishes such as pad thai (rice noodles stir-fried with shrimp, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, bean curd, scallions, and egg) and ka prow (chicken sauteed in fresh basil leaves, chili, and garlic sauce). Vegetarian dishes such as panang pak (mixed vegetables with basil leaves in curry peanu t sauce) are also available.
